Recipe Highlight
- 16 oz French Bread (1-2 day old)
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup Cajun’s Choice Breakfast Blend
- 1 1/2 Cup heavy Cream
- 1 1/2 cup Whole milk
- Cut the French bread into 1-inch squares, place into a greased baking pan.
- Mix the eggs, breakfast blend, heavy cream, and milk.
- Pour egg/milk mixture over the French bread
- Let soak for 15-20 mins. This allows for all the bread to become saturated with the egg/milk mixture
- Bake at 350F for 1 hour
Sauce: In a saucepan Mix together 1 cup heavy cream, 1/2 cup Cajun’s Choice Breakfast Blend, 4 Tbs butter and 1 Tbs. Flour. Bring to a boil, continue stirring. Reduce heat and cook around 5 mins. The mixture will thicken up. Pour on top of bread pudding.
